Jess is a warm, friendly and compassionate psychologist who aims to establish a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients. Jess works collaboratively with adults and young people experiencing issues such as low mood and depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief and loss, and adjustment issues. She also assists people experiencing work-life balance difficulties, sleep problems, physical health conditions (chronic and acute) and relationship problems.

Jess completed her Doctor of Health Psychology in 2010 and Master of Clinical Psychology in 2022. She has a keen interest in the relationship between physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing. She has over 14 years experience as a registered psychologist working in public and private hospitals, the education system and private practice.

Jess’ approach to therapy is compassionate, client centred and collaborative, she provides a non-judgemental space for clients to explore, reflect and work through difficulties. Jess offers a flexible combination of approaches when working with her clients, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, EMDR and Mindfulness. Jess is dedicated to empowering her clients to overcome their challenges and build fulfilling relationships and lives.

Jess is also a board approved supervisor and enjoys supporting early career psychologists in the field.
